I'm dental they're medical, suppose we earlier but some stupid school management mishap place us after them. If not, they have to call me Doctor first hehe

Patrick, one question, out of curiosity, did you get to pick ur field or did you get offered dentistry when u first started uni?
Well, basically, I'm fortunate enough to have been able to pick my field when competition for it wasnt as tough then.
I had a CGPA of 4.00 after matriculation but I wasnt really thinking of going into medicine or dentistry per se. Basically, I chose the course that offers me loads of money when I'm working. Then there's the stress free working environment I covet. Also there is my late dad who had a big influence on me choosing this field. Oh forgot one thing! To boost my super ego, I needed a career which can generate me a lot of respect from the public :P
So my influence was basically money, easy work, my late dad, and my ego.
Dont get me wrong, medicine is great and I could have gotten into med school if I wanted to but my family's got lots of doctor friends, dental and medical. I observed that most of the dental docs drive big cars and earn much more and lead pretty much a comfortable life though I couldnt say the same for the medical docs.
Overworked ( particularly if you're working in Sarawak, Sabah or the East Coast ). Very Poor pay. Getting bullied by senior MO's and almost zero chances of you specialising in fields of interest. Not really the kind of life I would like to have in any foreseable future.

Seems like side of story is an entirely different one, but lets just leave that for another day.

Anyway, chill girl, look to the future. The past is the freakin past and you cant change a damn thing about it. But you can change ur future so work on what you have now :)
